Since moving into our home in 2007, we have used Westbay on three separate occasions: Installation of vinyl plank flooring in a previously unfinished portion of our basement turned into bar area…. installation of carpet in the stairwell into our basement and another finished portion of our basement… and finally one big carpeting update in our living room, dining room, main stairway and upstairs hallway. I do not have a great eye for interior design, and the people at Westbay were fantastic at helping us find a color for our carpet that suited our house/paint colors best, while also thoroughly explaining the differences in our carpeting options and making recommendations to us based on how we live (including the fact that we have young, often messy kids to consider). In addition to the great product, we also appreciated the personalized service from a local, family-owned company. The latest experience in 2015 with Liana as the in-store sale rep was the best - she was welcoming, courteous and efficient. The in-store experience could have been better on previous occasions as we usually had to search for someone to take our order. The installation experience has always been outstanding and we always ask for "Don" as the installer. On the latest project he teamed with Dave and they were an excellent team. Arrive promptly, work hard all day, and truly are perfectionists about the outcome (as are we). We did try a flooring project through Costco to save money. The outcome looked wonderful but took about 10 days for a project that was 1/3 as big as the recent project thru Westbay which took just 3 days. The installer thru Costco often worked only 2 hours per day - he said he was 45 yrs old and didn't want to expend so much physical effort anymore.
