**Q: what floors are in this kitchen?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is this hardwood or engineered wood?  It looks like two different floors on either side of the island?

A: I believe that the flooring is hickory engineered hardwood from Homerwood. The color variance must be caused by how the lighting is hitting it in the photo.

**Q: What is the paint color above the cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the wall color paint above the cabinets? Very pretty!

A: I don't know what the paint color is. Sorry we couldn't be of help!

**Q: Does the base of the half moon part of the island have storage below?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is it possible to design an island like this in which the base of the half moon eating area has cabinets underneath? Would cabinets below allow enough support to the curved part of the island?

A: Yes, accessible cabinetry beneath would still provide ample support for the countertop. The cabinets could be built "curved" with radius frames and doors, or an alternative less expensive option would be to build as a straight segmented design like an octagon. The top could still be a radius.
