The crew was pleasant and professional and kept us informed of every step in the process. The owner, Mark Burns, listened carefully to our vision of the remodel and worked with us to meet our budget. He met us at his preferred tile, granite and plumbing suppliers and helped us coordinate everything, again staying within budget. His project coordinators Michael and Diego offered suggestions and kept things running smoothly. One glitch was the proper slope of the shower floor, but Mark had his tiler do it three times until it was correct. BKB is very concerned that they do things right and to your satisfaction. Recently (Nov 2019) we called Mark to see if he could convert the laundry cabinet door from pull-out to swing open. Michael came to the house twice with ideas how to do that and it is working perfectly now--and at no charge! Mark was very courteous and professional throughout the week long project. The reason for the low rating is a few issues we encountered with this project. One of the workers blighted the top of our ceramic stove top. We brought this up to Mark and he only discounted the project and didn't replace the stove top. We felt since it was severely scratched up, it should have been completely replaced. The project compensation wasn't enough to cover the cost of a replacement. We also noticed for the areas they had to do some drywall work and repaint, there is still a yellow tint from the plaster and we are going to have repaint the entire area. While Mark was professional and courteous, we do not recommend BKB and will not hire them for future projects. **Comment from Boerne Kitchens and Baths:** > I was disappointed in your review. It has been over 3 months since we finished the project and have heard nothing from you concerning the paint issue. We would have sent someone over to repaint the area had we known. > > The Range was an older model and the condition was scratched before we started the installation. Our installer did make additional cosmetic scratches and we felt that the compensation offered was adequate, and you agreed, given that the range was an older used model. It is not reasonable to expect us to replace the range with a new one in these circumstances.
