The design was done by DreamStyle Kitchens & Baths, owned by Marie, and she truly brought our vision to life. From the very beginning, she was creative, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable throughout the entire design process. She made everything feel easy and helped us make the right choices every step of the way. If you’re looking for a designer, I highly recommend reaching out to Marie at 1-914-523-8974 — she did an outstanding job designing our bathroom. **★★★★★ — juniperledge, May 2025** > We just redid our kitchen, two bathrooms and created a brand-new laundry room with the amazing designer, Marie Frankel. Our house was building 1910 and in the 50s a new kitchen was laid over an old one. Turquoise counters with red, white and blue tile. Yuck! There was also a harvest gold butler’s pantry. Marie combined the two rooms and created a beautiful 21st century kitchen. We have it all. Custom made birch cabinets, icy calcite counters and all the best in appliances built into the cabinetry. We had a lot of ideas and Marie was there to make them happen or tell us respectfully why it wouldn’t work and came up with something better. The kitchen demo exposed more hidden spaces and as each one came up Marie redid the plans to utilize them creating greater countertop space and flow. The piece de resistance is the baking pantry. Marie turned a small pantry into a quite large one by decreasing the size of our mudroom and adding the space to the pantry. Rolling out Christmas cookies there with my daughter was so fun and hopefully the start of a new tradition. The bathrooms went from so old they were practically not functional to bathrooms you would happily want a guest to use. Marie changed my life with a second-floor laundry. She turned an underused maid’s room into a laundry space that’s bright and happy. No more basement for me! I couldn’t recommend Marie more. In fact, I have recommended her to friends. She is easy to work with, fun, rolls with changes and created stunning spaces for us. The renderings made it much easier to envision the changes; they helped us see the colors and how everything would look with the backsplash and counters. > No detail was too small for Marie at Dreamstyle - I distinctly remember her printing out full scale paper tiles and laying them out on the wall to confirm the best placement of the pattern with us. When we realized we needed to have a couple outlets on the end of our island to be code compliant, Marie found some special outlets with paintable covers so that they didn’t ruin the aesthetic. > Also, I’m really impressed with the quality of the parts that Marie suggested. The SS sink is solid and the drain catch is its own little basket, which makes it super easy to clean out. When the materials did arrive, I was really impressed with the quality of the cabinets. The shaker panels weren’t thin and flimsy like the doors I had previously. The built-in storage racks for pans and cutting boards meant no wasted space - I’m so glad Marie suggested those. > I couldn’t be happier with the end result.
