Architectural fees depend vary per project and scope of work. Our projects focus primarily on renovation / additions to residences built between 1860 and 1940. However, we are also interested in smaller projects on a limited basis - bathrooms and kitchens within those historic residences. A typical bathroom rehabilitation could have a construction cost between $15K and $30K depending upon scope and finishes. A typical kitchen usually starts at $20K to ??? depending upon scope and finishes.

> Debra is the best! She did our kitchen remodel which transformed a 1970s DIY kitchen into a beautiful period Arts and Crafts style kitchen in our 1904 era home. Besides having a great eye for the aesthetic, Debra always brings it back to the practical by making sure that the space created is very livable and functional. She is careful to consider day-to-day needs as well as making sure the space will remain a "classic" far into the future. She also makes sure that the materials and surfaces are chosen for quality and longevity. She always comes up with great solutions to the problems along the way.

> And now several years later Debra is working on some changes to our new 1920s home out here in Boulder, CO. We had others look at this current project but nobody is as quick as Debra to understand what the client is looking for and wants. We were very happy when she agreed to work with us remotely on this new project.

> I have worked closely with Debra David since the early 00's when she first designed a 9 unit residential structure for me and my partner in a historic downtown Jersey City neighborhood. Since then she has worked on many small to large renovations for me and various clients of mine over the years. She is incredibly smart, creative and knowledgeable about materials and process. She has great creative solutions to the many interesting problems that come up in older homes. She follows projects through to the final detail. You will be thrilled with the results, I always am! A great professional with a great sense of humor!

**Comment from Debra David Architect LLC:**

> Deb is a great architect. She is thoughtful and her drawings are very detailed. She worked well with us and our contractor. She helped us stick to our budget but also added some great details to make our home pop. She knew the right people to talk to and always had different ideas we could work with. Would highly recommend!!!

## Community Q&A

**Q: Where is the vanity from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Love the white top on the vanity. So many only come with Carrera marble which can be hit or miss depending on the graining. Love this classic white.

A: The vanity top was actually a separate purchase from the vanity -

**Q: What is the Paint Color on the walls?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What was the paint color used here?

Thank you,

A: Adagio 1593 \| Benjamin Moore

**Q: Where are the door knobs from** *(in Photo Questions)*

Do you have any information about the door knobs pictured here? Make/Model/Finish

A: Schlage satin nickel

**Q: What brand and stain color is this house? Thanks** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: All Sherwin Williams colors, but we purchased from a store that carries only Benjamin Moore. They just mixed it for us.
Body: SW 2818 Downing Gray
Accent: SW 6244 Naval
Trim: SW 6511 Snowdrop
Front door: SW 6321 Red Bay

**Q: what color is the painted wall around sliding doors** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi Cindy - it's a light cool gray, Benjamin Moore. It looks light blue in this photo, but that's probably the play of light. The owners selected the colors. I have used BM Feather Gray 2127-60 with good success.

**Q: Where is that vanity from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I am doing a similar bathroom look and that vanity is perfect.

A: It's been a while - but I think either Wayfair or Build.com
