DON'T!!!!! Technical help is great, there have been minor mistakes with the precut kit and instructions... But the logistics department is either mismanaged or set up to take advantage of customers. We were sent an incomplete kit... Not told about the missing pieces until we asked why we couldn't find the packing list... And have since experienced being jerked around like in a movie. I can only guess they are trying to make us ask to be reimbursed for the missing windows to avoid the company paying for shipping or for driving them to us... They keep saying "good news!" Which then turns into bad news... Over and over again. Love the product... My journey started with a visit to Jamaica Cottage Shops in the summer of 2014 when I wandered the property looking at every cottage, camp, and shed they had on display. In January 2015 I visited again and put down a deposit on the 12X18 Writers Haven. My only change to the basic plan was the addition of a screen door. > The cottage is perfectly constructed. We haven’t found a single flaw. It was exactly as described on the website. When friends and family see it for the first time they are stunned at its beauty. One repeated comment is “pictures don’t do it justice.” I’ve waited a lifetime to have a cabin on my property in southern Vermont and now the dream has come true. > My entire experience from first visit to delivery was 100% positive. Every email was answered immediately and the delivery, though scheduled months in advance, was carefully planned and executed on a difficult piece of property. I know who built the cottage and I know the associates that I communicated with. Every one of them is professional and friendly. The delivery crew (2 people) was skilled and serious. Only joking with us when the cottage was placed exactly on the spot it was supposed to be. Before purchasing, I would recommend visiting their location where they have at least fifty buildings as examples of what they can do.
