## Community Q&A

**Q: Front door of my home, needs new color.** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I can not come up with a different color other than dark red or white, and the door has been both colors already. Any ideas on a different color even if I have to mix two paints is not a problem. Help ?

A: Lots of great ideas.  I would suggest a commercial brown as it has some grey to it that makes it a classy shade of brown.  Very popular with my clients these days.  I also like the yellow although I would do a deeper mustard colour.  I think black is overused and if it is too glossy the imperfections in a door are more noticable and if it is matt then keeping it clean is more challenging.  I also like to see the entire fascade as all the other colours can impact a choice.
