We have a unique situation in that there is no access to our backyard other than through our townhouse. Because of this, the landscapers that we contacted either were not interested or offered "window dressing"- type ideas which would not change the character of the dirt pile that we were viewing from the inside of our home. Upon contacting Hugh, he said that he would work with us to transform the space into something that we would enjoy. He said that transporting materials and equipment through the house was not optimal, however would not restrict him from creating a welcoming environment. Along with Courtney, his designer, and Raoul, his foreman, they put in place a plan that was very desirable. Additionally, modifications and unexpected obstacles were addressed on the fly without issue. Also, after five full days of constant transport of wheelbarrows and heavy equipment being moved through the house from front to back to front, there was not one single scrape to repair (whew!).
