Stef Albert is a New York-based firm offering luxury residential and commercial interior design.  Our work spans a range of styles from traditional, transitional, contemporary, eclectic to highly specialized and customized.  Stef Albert’s designs are timeless and elegant, and never trendy or impractical.  We assist clients in creating environments that reflect their taste, and above all, lifestyle.  

Our comprehensive design services include: space planning, custom furnishings and outfitting, lighting design, home automation, and interior and exterior architecture.  With a broad knowledge of art and antiquities, Stef Albert also assists clients with building and highlighting their collections to create truly customized, curated spaces.  We manage all aspects of the project from concept formation and budgeting to sourcing, purchasing, and complete installation.  

As a boutique firm, all projects are personally overseen by firm founder and lead designer, Stef-Albert Bothma.  Since the firm's inception in 1999, we have conducted projects in the US, Europe, Russia, and the Middle East for clients including heads of state, Forbes 100 members, and notable celebrities.  All work is kept highly confidential in respect of clients' privacy and requirements.  We strive for artistic and professional integrity for each project from the outset through completion.

> I have used Stef Albert twice in the past ten years.  First, to re-design and combine two apartments in a high-rise in Manhattan and later to design my home in Connecticut. In both instances I needed complete management from start to finish.   It was a pleasure to work with Stef Albert because I did not need to be involved in any of the logistics and oversight.  Stef Albert is extremely talented, focussed and above average.  HIs listens well and delivered exactly what I was after.  At first I was hesitant because his portfolio is so varied and I was not sure he was the right choice for me.  But after our first meeting he returned with concepts and ideas that were spot on. Both projects turned out beyond my expectations. He kept the project on budget and on time and I appreciated his honesty and straightforwardness.  If you want to use a talented firm that delivers, you need not look further.
