It accepts a credit card payment for the initial payment but only accepts a check or wire transfer for the final payment, which delays delivery by 5-7 days. It is closed for all of August and for 3 weeks around Christmas. I was promised that a furniture order would be delivered by Christmas and it will not be shipped until mid January. The lead time to get the furniture and erratic customer service is just not worth it. Buy elsewhere. **Comment from Cassoni Furniture & Accessories:** > Dear Carolyn, thank you for taking the time to make this review. Please let us explain a little bit about this atypical situation: 1) The payment method is as described in our Terms & Conditions which you signed in agreement at the time of ordering. 2) Regarding us closing in August, that is not correct. We never close in August. What we explain to our Clients is that the Manufacturers in Italy close for one, two or three weeks (depending on the Manufacturer) due to their National vacations in Italy and this may or may not affect production times for a short period, but we, our office, all our departments and our attention and dedication to our clients continue to work as always. 3) Since we started this business 18 years ago, we only close for two and a half weeks during the Holidays and New Year. This is the only time that we close to be able to dedicate ourselves to our Families during the celebrations and to rest after a year of hard work, in order to regain energy and start the next year working and giving the best of ourselves to our Clients. 4) About the lead time, we were ready to deliver in due time and we emailed and called your Designer during 4 weeks with no response. You are well aware that, at some point during this whole process, the communication between you and your Designer got a bit messy for different reasons unrelated to us. When we finally received the final payment, it was already the 23rd of December and there was no time to coordinate everything for before Christmas. We returned to work yesterday (11th of January) to find out about this sole negative review (please note that all our other reviews are 5 Stars) and on that same day the corresponding departments took immediate care of your situation. We are truly sorry that your experience with us got a bit mixed up and that you feel this way. Feel free to contact us at any time.
