I've contacted Bob to alert him to the wall defect and he stated it needed to be fixed and then ghosted me. I've emailed several times and he pushed me off several weeks, told me we didn't need footers for a 6' high wall and 4,000lb kitchen island and then hasn't responded. Our project was one he took an advertisement on and he put pictures in his website so this was his "best work". I saw an add for Bob's Landscaping and invited him out for an estimate. I was impressed with his knowledge of construction and he presented us with many thoughtful ideas on the project. His estimate was very reasonable and was much less than some of the other estimates we received. We decided to hire Bob's Landscaping for the project. It involved the demolition and removal of the old deck, a rebuilding of the supporting structure, and installation of the new deck and benches (using Trex decking). After the demolition was completed, Bob suggested reworking the supporting structure to elevate the deck about 6". It was a great idea and I'm very pleased with the result. Bob was on the job every day and was open to my ideas and suggestions. The project was completed promptly and my wife and I are very satisfied with our new deck. I was told the project was to start at the end of September. He did not come out until the end of October. I had to keep contacting him to find out when he was planning on coming out because I really didn't hear from him. It was one delay after another. Once they came out the project was rushed and many mistakes were made. The circle in front of my entryway was poorly done. The outside parameter isn't perfectly round and the inside brick is uneven so half of it puddles in the rain. I wanted it angled to give it a grander look (which I paid extra for) and the angle is off. The sidewalk isn't pitched and leveled correctly which made it uneven. This whole process has been a lack of communication on his part. Call goes unanswered, time lines come and go. Still in the process of working the issues out. Very disappointed and stressed out. **Comment from Bob's Landscaping:** > There are some people who are never pleased, no matter what you do. She wasn't happy with the angle, and asked for it to be changed, it was changed to exactly what she wanted, so if it is off, as she says, it is what she wanted, also, when you add onto a project, including additional materials, it is normal to pay for that. Any issues they had were solved to their satisfaction. They have a beautiful new walkway. It is difficult to work with someone who wants to micromanage you, when they know nothing about what you are doing. We are proud of the work we do, and stand behind it 100%. This review was done before all of the changes she requested, were completed.
