But we do have questions... please? is there a chemical/plastic smell to these floors? I am very chemical sensitive! resale? We will prob be selling the home in a couple years and downsizing. Are these floors attractive to sellers? any other ideas? Hardwood is cost prohibitive. Can you use laminate around baths and kitchens? Sooooo confusing!!! thanks in advance!!! A: I do not recommend laminate or carpet unless its wool either. This also has to do with the production and materials used in manufacturing. Does this mean my clients never use these products no, but I do not recommend them. And for the record products are not guaranteed to off gas, they just do not exceed certain limits set by the certification requirements.
