> Lisa carefully listened to all of our creative ideas and turned those into detailed plans that would meet all local permitting requirements for our second story screened porch and deck project. She has a gift for understanding what we were looking for and then suggesting improvements for details that we did not know to consider. She is knowledgeable about building codes and thorough in her analysis of the project, which really streamlined the process and allowed our builder to get started sooner and keep the project timeline on track. Seeing Lisa’s designs allowed us to really visualize the finished product. She provided options on a couple of things where we couldn’t decide until seeing her designs helped us to make a decision. We absolutely love working with Lisa and highly recommend her!

> Lisa was a pleasure to work with throughout my remodel project. She is very professional, listens to her client's needs, and is a creative problem solver. She designed plans to split a Jack/Jill bathroom into two separate en-suite bathrooms. We are extremely pleased with the end result. The contactor, plumber, and electician were all very complimentary of the plans. Having these detailed plans made their work much easier and therefore, saved me money! I would highly recommend Lisa and would use her again for other projects.

> Lisa is absolutely amazing! My husband and I are in the process of downsizing to a senior friendly, one-story home on our farm. I know what I want (total renovation with add-on family room, arts and crafts style) but don't have the expertise to put the pieces together. I contacted Lisa for help, and from my general description she has totally nailed it! Everything she has suggested from trim enhancements to kitchen cabinet arrangement to architectural details is perfect. I feel extremely confident in her ability to create the perfect home for us. Lisa not only has fantastic design knowledge, but she has the ability to listen and translate dreams into reality. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

> Lisa was amazing to work with on our house remodel. She was quick to make any changes we needed. It was wonderful to go to her office to see the 3-D version of our plans and we could make changes with her in person. I would definitely use her again and recommend her for any design plans.

> Another couple who were building their home recommended Lisa. They said so many great things that we set up an initial consultation. Lisa took our proposed floor plan, our list of requirements, added her skills and knowledge and quickly created a first draft. The process to get to a final plan was great. Lisa's personality, responsiveness and skills made the design part of building our dream home a high point. Now that framing is now complete, we have the appearance, functionality and feel we asked for and more. As we are doing much of the work ourselves, Lisa's ongoing help has been invaluable.

> Lisa is such a joy to work with. She gave us exactly what we asked for and was so easy to work with. I would highly recommend LLG Designs to anyone who wants quality design work!!

> We had a garage to be remodeled. We knew we wanted a larger master bedroom, bath and laundry room but were unsure of how to lay it out so it would flow with the rest of the house. We also didn't want to get bids from a contractor without a plan of the project. Lisa listened to our wishes and designed the perfect project for us. She was also always there for help during the project if we or the contractor had any questions. She is very easy to work with and listens to your concerns. She also helped us find a contractor and made some recommendations for material shopping to help keep cost down.

> LLG has been such a great help in adding on to our home. Very thorough and has followed up along the way to make sure that our builders are able to do everything according to plan, which is so appreciated.

**★★★★★ — Lindsey Cox, Aug. 2014**

> Lisa was fabulous to work with throughout our whole project! She did our drafts for a large home addition and remodel. She always responded to calls, text messages and emails in a super fast and professional manner. Along with our drafts, she also acted as a sounding board for my style ideas in regards to our home and was very patient with me throughout the entire process. I would recommend her to anyone!

> Lisa recently designed a beautiful new home for our family, and we could not be more pleased with the result. Her vision, responsiveness, and attention to detail were all superb. She also provided invaluable assistance in choosing interior finishes and continued advice during the building process. We highly recommend LLG Residential Design LLC!

> LLG Residential Design did an amazing job with our kitchen. We've wanted to do the renovation for years but until Lisa showed us how to make it work in our 1888 house we just didn't have the motivation.
>
> Our design was not only gorgeous but also appropriate for our Victorian Cottage with all the modern touches! We have an unusual space, and didn't want to add square footage. Lisa's design makes our home feel twice as large and it accommodates our lifestyle. We love to cook for friends and family and every detail of the design was made with that goal in mind.
>
> I would recommend LLG Residential Design to anyone wanting a beautiful new space in their home that works with the style, architecture and personal goals that you have for your lifestyle and family.

> My wife and I worked with Lisa at LLG Residential Design on an addition to our house and a renovation of our kitchen. Lisa was fantastic to work with throughout the whole process. Lisa provided a lot of help not just on the planning of the addition and kitchen but also on how to deal with the builder, codes, and even input of materials and fixtures. Our project came out much better and for less cost due to a number of recommendations we never would have thought of. One idea in particular that everyone raves about when they see it was to use wainscoting in a particular area. Not only was it a great idea and really makes the room but Lisa also had an idea for which materials to use that dramatically cut the cost. If you're thinking of a renovation, addition, or new construction you should add LLG Residential Design to your short list of planners and designers

## Community Q&A

**Q: Kitchen** *(in Photo Questions)*

What are the dimensions of the pantry?

A: Hello, sorry for the delayed response, had not seen your question. The interior measurements of the pantry are 3'8" by 3'8". The shelves were custom built and we also added lazy Susan's in the corners.

**Q: Dimensions Please?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Love this - can you please tell me the dimensions of the closet?
Thank you!

A: The closet is 36" on the interior, the door is 24" wide and the utility rack is 16" wide. Hanging all the brooms and cleaning items really organized the space and made things easy to access when needed.

**Q: What is the brand of cabinet? And size of corner wall unit?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Great kitchen design! Love the various heights of the wall cabinet.

A: Hello, thanks for the note. It is a great family kitchen with chaulk board paint on the pantry doors. The cabinets are Wellborn Forest Cabinets, shaker door in Artic White. The corner cabinet is a 24" diagonal corner wall cabinet. Wellborn has several nice corner storage cabinets to choose from.

**Q: How did you make the corner lazy susan face frame flush w full overlay** *(in Photo Questions)*

I am trying to meld a base with inset revolving doors with full overlay on adjacent cabinets. The concern was the exposed face frame is recessed next to the full overlay. You seem to have accomplished a unified look. Just curious how it was done.

A: Hello, yes you are correct in that you could have built it with the flat center panel and then the stiles as the trim on the cabinet that doesn't move. These just happen to be the way the Wellborn cabinets were made.
If you don't need the corner space and it is smaller than 36", you may want to save some money and just have it as a dead space. Corner cabinets can be expensive and less useful.
Hope your project goes well.
Lisa

**Q: How wide is the drawer?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This slide out is 18", they also come in a 24".

**Q: Great use of space** *(in Photo Questions)*

how wide is the door of this rack on the outside

A: This is a 9" panel on the spice roll out.
