Tv will be mounted on wall at left of niche. High ceiling, open. A: I would do a custom art panel fresco laser cut from steel, pinned off the wall and back lit from the bottom. The art would be designed to suit your specific tastes. Of course I am biased to my own work. See one application of our art panels pictured here... **Q: Need mirror and lighting suggestions** *(in Design Dilemma)* Any suggestions for a mirror or mirror grouping on the far wall of my dining room? I also need a suggestion on a light fixture above the table. The far wall is 11' 10" long and 3'51/2" from the ceiling to the top of the paneling. Any other decorating ideas for the space are welcome as well. The dining set is new but the buffet does not have to stay. Thanks. A: I see a large rectangular mirror on the far wall flanked with craftsman sconces. Over the table a craftsman inspired light fixture. The open or "square ring" shaped fixture body is an "in line" of the table below and is mounted directly to the ceiling. A series of 8 or so pendants are hung from the fixture body with rectangular amber lenses that are visually linked to the wall sconces. All fixtures are illuminated with Edison style light bulbs. **Q: fireplace** *(in Photo Questions)* Are these tiles? Can you please give details on the fireplace. Thinking of: adding a large scale exterior lantern over arched opening. Iron work over lower portion of front windows. are the shutters wrong? A: I like the idea of rails over the porch. The gables need something as well. Maybe three substantial ornamental iron corbels, one below each flat step on the gable ends. The corbels could have lighting hung from them.... The door coming into the room is at the top of the T. There is a door on the other end going into a small room. I don't know how to decorate or arrange. It is for 3 older teenage boys. A: Add some trim and maybe a chair rail and some framed wall panels below the rail.
