Did you get that from home depot? A: Beautiful work. I can just imagine what the rest of the house looks like. **Q: Exterior flood light placement** *(in Design Dilemma)* Need input on where to put single flood lights. We want to put one on both sides and wonder which 3 locations would they work best on with looks and functionality. Am guessing most lights will be on an adjustable base. I put 3 dots on where we are considering them 1)under Angeled soffit 2) on side bird box 3) flat mounted underneath soffit. Want to be able to watch the snow fly at night from the back windows. A: If you put them under the soffit on the flat part it wil allow the most adjustment of where the lights point. If your main focus is really to watch the snow fall at tge top if the roof peak will illuminate that the most. **Q: Can you get these with remote?** *(in Product Questions)* A: You can get most gas fireplaces with a remote . The logs are usually a separate purchase or are at the very least changeable if they come with the fireplace **Q: Oh no! Truss roof!** *(in Design Dilemma)* Just purchased a ranch home that has 8 ft. ceilings throughout. Our plan going into this was to raise ceiling height everywhere but did not realize that with a truss roof that is sometimes quite costly and not so easy to do! What are our options and what are possible costs of this endeavor? My fear is that cost involved will take most of our budget and we will not be able to do much else at this time. Can anyone give me any hope and cost estimates on such an endeavor? Thank you! A: If the trusses have a good amount of space between them you could always have them encased with something nicer looking. Also consider you are also likely lising all of you insulation. Another complication in the kitchen renovation front** *(in Design Dilemma)* Hello, it appears that I keep posting,as every day new issues arise with our kitchen renovation. Anyway, today the contractor put in a receptacle in the side of the kitchen island, but while there was plenty of space to put it inside the front cabinet, he put it where the wine fridge was supposed to go. Now the wine refrigerator cannot go in fully, and protrudes. For the electricians or those with electrical knowledge: is there any electrical Bo's that is 1 inch or less deep?
