> When we started our journey to build our new home we looked at several builders in the area before we selected Porter Construction.  Scott Porter differentiated himself from the others as he was honest, forthcoming, energetic, passionate about his work and cared about what my family wanted in a home.   Scott worked with us from the design stage with the architect up until the day he delivered our home.  During the process several things really impressed us about Scott and his team.   First, Scott was on the build site almost every day and had a representative there 100% of the time making sure the work was done to Porter Constructions standards.  Second, Scott stayed in constant contact with us to ensure the home was meeting our standards throughout the build.  Third, he was flexible to changes we wanted to make and wasn't afraid to make recommendations to us during the process to enhance our home.   Lastly,  he delivered the project on budget and on time.

> Scott Porter has completed two projects for us, which have had a huge impact on the comfort and design of our 1950's ranch home.  He renovated the master bath in 2011, creating an elegant and functional bathroom and expanding the closet space.  In 2013, we invited Scott back to renovate a second bathroom which has become a showpiece, as well as a very functional space for our teenage daughter.  Both renovations include quality custom cabinetry, natural stone and marble, high end plumbing fixtures and beautiful lighting.  Scott has both a great eye for design and the ability to help clients access beautiful materials at the best price.  He listened to our ideas and wishes, incorporating them in to a finished product that surpassed our expectations.

Like most homeowners, we were terrified to undertake a project that would have both our kitchen and master bath out of commission, but Scott really made it as painless a process as possible.  He created a budget and timeline for completion of the job, and then stuck to it so we knew exactly what to expect.  Even unforeseen complications did not stall completion of the job as Scott was able to use his experience and expertise to create timely workarounds.  Scott was at the job site every day or readily available by phone to answer any concerns.  He has impeccable taste and an amazing eye for how all of the elements would come together for the final product.  We could not be happier with our experience with Scott.
