They really knew plants, far better than many we have had before. In addition, Marc created a wonderful design that fulfilled a vision we had had but had not been able to realize. A: Thank you for asking. The light green ground cover between the stones is Golden Creeping Jenny (lysimachia nummularia 'aurea'). Golden creeping Jenny is a low-growing, evergreen groundcover with rounded, golden yellow leaves.In summer, it produces many cup-shaped, bright yellow flowers. A: The tree is a Serviceberry, and the groundcover is Dart's Blue Periwinkle. It is planted in zone 5, and gets a fair amount of sun.
