Gutters were clogged and the overflowing water started running down my front door and into the drywall, ultimately ending downstairs. After hiring a remediation company to rip out all the damage I was on the hunt for a contractor to fix the damage. I needed someone to replace insulation, drywall, paint, fix/replace required trim, and install new flooring (Coretec). I got A LOT of quotes but price was only half of the requirements. In addition to a reasonable price, I needed a contractor I could trust. I had heard too many horror stories stories of contractors dragging out work or not being responsive or just doing shoddy work. None of these were issues with Charles. His workers went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the work they did and often did additional work to make things look more seamless since they had to combine the new work so it looked the same as the old work. Originally I had a budget and Charles was more than realistic and gave me a great quote (which was much more reasonable than all of the other contractors I received quotes from). I ultimately ended up choosing a flooring brand that was more expensive because I wanted a particular color and the reputation behind that flooring. Charles accommodated and the quote did go up but based on the pricing I was seeing if I bought it myself, it was more than comparable (plus I didn’t have to learn how to install it myself!).
