> I found Raelyn while scrolling through Instagram and she was my first call after we closed on a new house.  We bought a very dated home which needed several updates.  Initially I met with Raelyn to discuss a kitchen renovation.  After seeing how amazing the kitchen/breakfast bar/dining room space was coming together, the renovation quickly spread to pretty much the entire first floor which included a powder room, mudroom closet, interior doors and front entrance.  She truly captured my vision and style.  And more importantly we stayed within budget.  She offered her advice throughout the process and was quick to respond.  We are extremely happy with the design and function of our new space and look forward to working with Raelyn in the future.

She listened to my ideas and hopes for the space and turned them into a reality – the finished project was more amazing than I had imagined. She turned a rundown, abandoned restaurant into an incredibly gorgeous boutique fitness studio, giving the space a look and feel that I never imagined possible. Raelyn is different from other designers because she truly cares about each and every project that she takes on. She genuinely cared about my vision for the space and listened to all of my ideas. She then took those ideas and turned them into a stunning reality. Whenever we ran into an unexpected issue, Raelyn was able to come up with a solution that was both functional and beautiful. Most importantly, she created a beautiful space within my budget. Whenever we approached one another with a design idea, Raelyn was able to bring it to life in or under budget. Whenever something was too expensive, she was always able to find an equally beautiful, but less expensive option. The few times she couldn’t find a suitable substitute, she (brilliantly) came up with another idea that worked perfectly in the space. Raelyn is a true professional that will surprise you every step of the way. Her visions are incredible and her endless connections with local artists and craftsmen proved invaluable. Each and every time I step into one of my studios, I am blown away by how beautiful they are!

Is this real slate? What’s the brand and where did you get it? Thank you!!

A: Yes, it's real slate. We purchased 12x12s from a local tile shop and cut them all in half.

I love this paint color on the walls and got a sample of the Behr calligraphy which is very gray. Could this be a different color? Thanks in advance!

A: Thats the color! It will definitely look different in every light. I have a ton of sunlight and my floors have a tint of blue. Did you prime your walls?

A: They are Gus Modern!

What kind of wood are these cabinets and who made them?

A: My carpenter made the cabinets custom per my specifications. They are oak.

I can see that the field tile is white subway tile.  What kind of tile was used to create the address name?  Did you have to lay out your own design?

A: I bought them on etsy by the bag. I laid them on the sheets myself!
