I spoke with several different builders since I had never bought/owned a pool before and I knew absolutely nothing about them. I’m not the guy that usually shops around and gets several quotes, but I made myself this time to simply learn about the process and learn what different companies were charging. I wasn’t necessarily looking for the absolute cheapest, because I believe in most cases you get what you pay for. I was looking for someone that cared, took the time to explain everything to me, and made me feel like he would provide good service throughout the build process. > > It was clear to me after talking to 6 different pool builders that I wanted Trey (Shellback Designs) to build our pool. He impressed me with his experience, knowledge and his attention to detail. His recommendation paid off many times over! > Not only was his price reasonable and under budget, Trey personally help design every aspect of it. My pool was a somewhat more challenging than normal, we incorporated a 105" Stealth Acoustic TV that normally is partially below grade and at command it raises 10' above the main water feature.
