Alia and Whitney guided me through the process of choosing the many items needed for the renovation. Every week, the three of us met to go over the process, discuss the next steps, answer questions, etc. Every evening, Whitney sent me an email stating who would be working and what they would be doing. They handled all subcontractors, and very importantly, they were here every day, 5 days a week. Their work is impeccable, communication superb, excellence showed in every aspect. If I do more in the future, I want Adlich! So after much looking around we decided that we would be better off just staying where we are. We had more than enough of going up and down the stairs so we decided to add a small addition to our rarely used living and dining room in order to make a primary bedroom suite. We received estimates from three contractors but Adlich got our attention over the others because during our initial meeting they were the only ones to take some measurements and do a quick drawing before sending their estimate. It made us feel like these guys are not kidding around. Yes please, just what we’re looking for . With zero experience with a renovation we were very apprehensive about the whole process. I mean who knows what to do, when to do, why and how to bring everything together without making your house a wreck. Not us for sure. With Adlich we found that we didn’t have to worry. Not that we didn’t have lots of decisions to make but their team was with us to guide us through the entire process. Prompt answers to each of my two million questions, helpful suggestions for everything from floor plans, fixtures, tiles, lighting, just so helpful with everything. We could not have been in better hands. As mentioned in other reviews their communication is top notch, each day we were told when they are coming and what they would be doing, as well as weekly check-in meetings to review what has been done and what to expect next. Their people were always respectful of us and our home and cleaned up after themselves each day. Most important is that their work is outstanding. Our bedroom entrance is near our front door so needless to say that it has to look good, and it does. Their work was seamless, when you enter our home you would never know that our new bedroom wasn’t a part of the original floor plan. Unfortunately, those experiences were less than ideal, some even worthy of legal action (especially the gut job). Adlich Renovations came highly referred from two trusted sources. Alia worked closely with me throughout the design process. All of my appointments were arranged for me; all I had to do was show up and bring my imagination. The total job took about 6 weeks. My background in project and program management makes me inclined to coordinate and organize. However, in this case, I was able to sit back and relax...I was a customer which was a change of pace for me. Alia and Whitney provided daily updates (via email) on the next day's plan, including the arrival time. Nope, not at all. It wasn’t spotless (it is construction after all), however they were very neat and “reno clean” throughout the entire process. The dumpster was neatly packed, there weren’t nails or material parts floating around outside of my house, sawdust was even cleaned up before they left for the day. > > As for issues, sometimes things don't always go as planned. About a week or so after they finished the job, I noticed a small defect in one of my cabinet doors. I reached out to them and shared pictures/video. Adlich Renovations contacted the manufacturer for a replacement. Shipment took the normal couple of weeks.
