> Having built/renovated homes 3 times in the past, Fry Homes was the worst experience for us. Not an exciting process as it should be but it turned into a nightmare. From low end materials/finishes to not meeting a single deadline to not taking responsibility for a single of many problems, including a sewer backup in a new home, Mr Fry, not only copped an attitude but blamed all his shortcomings on us, the homeowner. He is NOT, as he claims one of the leading home builders.

**Comment from Fry Homes:**

> Your review disappoints us. Fry Homes takes pride in providing excellent service to our customers and couldn't disagree more with your assessment. Fry Homes tries to go above and beyone for every one of our clients to deliver the home our clients envision.
> We went above and beyond for you in building your home and were met with difficulty all along the way. The materials installed in the home are materials that you selected, approved, and were more than happy with at the time. We agree the process could have gone smoother for your build, if you would have utilized any of our designers in various showrooms, as opposed to selecting everything online and remotely. We would have been happy to work more closely with you in order to deliver the best home, matching exactly what you envisioned. We tried at every step to accomplish your goals and made multiple changes for you at no cost to deilver this for you, including items after closing which we were found not at fault but took care of regardless. We wish you had realized this is a townhome in Madisonville and not your custom built home over $3 Million+ in Vail, Colorado to which you are accustomed. This project did reach LEED Silver recquirements to achieve and hit the tax abatment for the project. For this to happen, all of the material had to pass these inspections through the LEED consultant and meet specific requirements. We have an abundance of very satisfied prior clients who can attest to the level of service, attention to detail, craftsmanship, thoughtfulness, and overall quality we deliver when customers act as a partner rather than an opposing force threatening lawsuit after lawsuit. While we have learned (and will continue to learn) that we can't make everyone happy, we will never stop trying!

> Working with Ben and Fry Homes couldn't have been a better experience. We came to them with an idea and a plan and they helped turn our idea into reality. We couldn't have asked for a better partner in the building process and it remained a collaborative and good partnership from start to finish. The entire team was great at giving opinions and input when we needed it and executed our ideas when we new exactly what we wanted. We had clear and regular communication throughout the building process and felt like we were a big part of what is now our new home. Overall we had a pretty clear vision for what we wanted in our 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath house and it's exactly what we pictured thanks to Fry Homes.

> We were casually looking for a new home closer to the city center and not interested in a new build. Both of those quickly changed when we first visited the home we purchased from Fry Homes. Firstly, they build their houses with very high LEED status, which made our house far more affordable than we expected after tax-abatement. Secondly, we simply fell in love with the home at first sight. This past year we have grown to further appreciate the absolute attention that was given to the design all the way down to finest finishing’s. We looked at other houses before this one and none of the new-work we saw was as well done.

> Our most important impressions on Fry Homes came once we were in the home. Ben Fry himself has been personally responsive to have his team jump on any first year punch list items that came up. When I asked Ben later about detail items like extra wall-paper, flooring types and care, he had all the answers at his fingertips and many from memory, showing just how personally involved he is in each and every project. Also, within just a few months we refinanced and our appraisal value already went up substantially and confirmed with us the house was a great value market-wise (don’t use Zillow for our value estimate, it’s algorithm is confused and thinks the house was built in 1880).

> If we were down the line to build a home, Ben would be the first person we would contact based on our experience with him and his team. However, we love our home, its location, and it’s tough to see us leaving it ever.

> Fry Homes produces an excellent and quality product. I have worked with the company owner for nearly five years on many projects and can say with confidence that their forward thinking and eye for design are sure to attract a buyers attention! NOT your average builder!Every detail of each home is thoughtfully planned with the future owner in mind. Fry Homes goes the extra mile to ensure current and future clients are offered the latest in home trends and designs, as well as energy efficient opportunities such as LEED certifications.

> Fry Homes did a tremendous job on renovating our kitchen with granite counter tops, new cabinets, and laying the new flooring as well. My wife and I are very pleased with the services that we received. Thanks Fry Homes!
