**Q: Vinyl flooring in the bathroom?** *(in Flooring)*

I'm looking for someone to tell me its OK to put vinyl flooring in the master bathroom.  As a practical person I don't like the idea of cold ceramic or stone tiles on the feet, the grout, and and expense and time of installation.   The contractor would have to strengthen the sub floor and then there is the endless cutting of tile and grouting all to have a cold surface.  I don't understand why we hate tile on our kitchen counters but love it on our bathroom floors.
Are there any other choices?  The vinyl is waterproof, warm to the feet, can be installed in a day without a lot of mess and does not require a rigid underlayment.

A: We installed wood floors in powder room, with all the water proof options available you can do anything you like in your home, you have love living in 
your home.

**Q: Problem with newly refinished red oak hardwood floor** *(in Flooring)*

I had my red oak hardwood floors refinished last week. Last night was my first chance to walk through the house. Since it was evening the ceiling lights were on. It was at this point I noticed what looks like little pinholes in the wood on the darker parts of the grain. The floors did not previously have this appearance. Does anyone know what could have caused this and how to fix?

A: It looks like the wood was number two grade selection, and when they refinished it, they did not reapply the wood fillers.
