Jacquelyn Dixon has been building homes in Lee County and the surrounding areas since 1997.  She started her own construction company after having a custom home built for her and her family.  Taking knowledge from a childhood spent watching her father run a successful silo business, Jacquelyn found that she had a built-in knack for knowing how things go together. 
 
Her successful construction company builds custom homes ranging from 2,000 sq.ft. to just over 13,000 sq.ft. and has been featured in local and regional magazines.  Her creative additions have her unique perspective of what her clients want.

Not knowing what we wanted to do to our cabin, but knowing we needed more space for our growing family, Jacquelyn patiently listened, made recommendations, then designed a renovation of our cabin to fit our needs within our proposed budget.  Through the design process, we realized our budget had to be increased to provide us with a final project that would work for us long term.  To make us comfortable with our budget, Jacquelyn allowed us to complete our project in stages, completing each stage at or under budget before we committed to or began the next stage.  We were under budget at each stage of our project and are currently finishing up the last increment of our lake home renovation.

Could you please share with me the name of this granite?

A: Could be - Different companies across the country will have similar names for the same stone

What kind of granite is this? I love the treelike pattern in it and would to find something similar.

A: This is Rain Forest Brown Granite with a honed finish (not shiny)- it comes in several colors.

**Q: What is the glaze on these cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The color is Sherwin Williams Chateau Brown glaze applied by the cabinet maker.

**Q: Love the brick.Is that stucco over brick?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thank you!  It is "mortar wash" - A smear over the brick.

Hi can you please provide the stain color and brand used on the cedar shakes on this beautiful home?

A: The shakes are cement board varied straight line.  The paint color is Benjamin Moore Mystic Gold HC-37.

A: Yes it is.  This house was layered twice to give it a richer color.
