**★★★★★ — David Miller, Jan. 2020**

> The best in the business. I've known Jason and Joe for 15 years and they are two of the most honest and ethical men I know. They are highly skilled in building science and build quality over quantity. They treat you like family and build your house as if it were their own; I can't imagine going through this process without them by our side!

**★★★★★ — Mike Beaver, March 2017**

> As a subcontractor we really appreciate a professional general contractor organization and Grainda Builders really epitomizes that attribute. Whether it is working with their customer and presenting their team approach to a project or working with the team of contractors directly they always present a level of professionalism that is rarely seen.

**★★★★★ — SoundVision, LLC, March 2017**

> We have worked with the folks at Grainda Builders, Inc for many years now and find them to be one of the finest groups we have the pleasure to work with. Their work is top notch and their staff is friendly and honest. They have excellent communication skills and use them when dealing with customers. I highly recommend them.

**★★★★★ — Hal Armistead, March 2017**

> We had a horrendous experience with our first home building endeavor. When we decided to build again, it took 2 years of interviewing different individuals to finally decide on Grainda (had never heard of this builder, but chose them over some much higher profile names around Lake Norman). They worked with us endlessly to get the project on paper! Then the building process was essentially seamless as we "kept an eye on them" (which ultimately proved to be needless). We spent $ 1.1 million on the project, Joe and Jason were in constant contact, and their crew was superb. Joe was at the site on hands and knees "getting dirty" to ensure that the job was done right. Jason ("MacGyver") was always figuring out "another way" to get the answer we were looking for when circumstances presented an issue.
> We were so ecstatic with the final product that we had an open house party for the neighborhood (we had built our first house in the same neighborhood) with Joe, Jason, and wives as the guests of honor so all the neighbors could meet them and see the final product.
> We have kept in contact for the little odds and ends that wear out, go wrong, or need touch-up paint on an annual basis, and they have responded quickly and thoroughly to our requests.
> I would NEVER EVER consider anyone else to build a house for me. AND if you want the BEST possible building experience, you need look no further than Grainda Builders!
> \*\* I am not a relative, employee, stock holder, investor, and have not received financial compensation for this recommendation. I would graciously hope to be known as "friend."

**★★★★★ — Peter Norrito, Feb. 2017**

> We have used custom builders several times in the past, and my wife and I could not be any happier than we were with Grainda Builders. Joe, Jason and the entire staff exceeded all of our expectations and built us a beautiful custom home. They took pride in our home as if it was their own. Making suggestions and steering us in the right direction with an honest and professional flair, they made this project as stress free as possible. If we ever build again, we would not think of using anyone else other than Grainda Builders.

**★★★★★ — Chanda Pope, Feb. 2017**

> Just Absolutely Amazing. They came in after we had one awful experience for our big Renovation project on our house. This was a structural and cosmetic Renovation of an almost 40 year old house mid century California style house (6,000ft). The Communication was like a fresh of breath air "we would text and we would get a text right back. Something we never received before with our other contractor. David Webb was our project Manager on our house and truly we fell in love with him. His dedication, communication, Timeline, attention to detail and his compassion for what he loves to do it is truly visible. ( pics below 2 are before and 2 after)

**★★★★★ — TIMOTHY SMALL, Feb. 2017**

> Joe and Jason built our home in 2005-6 and the experience was nothing but excellent. Their team added value to the project and dealt with issues that arose with reasonable and timely solutions.Even now, eleven years later, they are available to help with maintenance questions that come up. We now have our house up for sale and are excited to have Grainda Builders get to work on our new home!

**★★★★★ — debbatch, Aug. 2016**

> We are in the middle of 3 projects using Grainda Builders. So far, they are extremely professional and communicative. David is helping us replace our entire 45 foot front porch with Wolf tongue and groove flooring, replacing skinny round columns with larger square columns and custom railing. In addition, David is in charge of re building a brick retaining wall along our driveway that has collapsed. Finally, we will re-pour sections of our driveway to prevent water from entering our garage. I know Grainda builds beautiful homes but they also do great renovation work.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Are pillars in bathrooms out of date? Oct 2016** *(in Photo Questions)*

I live in Alberta, Canada. I've been advised that the pillars in our spa bathroom are outdated? Should we be renovating the bathroom? Please advise.
Thank you! Diane

A: Yes they are, but sometimes we are still asked to install them.

**Q: Hi what is the ceiling color? Beautiful!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Thanks
Kate

A: This project was done too long ago to recall it. You should be able to get a close enough match.

**Q: Please tell me the brand of the tub. Thank you!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Looking to purchased a new whirlpool tub. What brand of tub is this? Thank you.

A: This project is from a while back, so no information available.

**Q: Love the leather sofas!** *(in Photo Questions)*

Who is manufacturer and where can I purchase?

A: Hi there! Thanks so much for your question. This is a custom home we built for our client who already owned the sofa. Sorry I do not know where they purchased it! However there is another question on this sofa from 2014 and contributors made suggestions on where to find this.

**Q: Where can I find the blueprints for this house?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love the look of this house. How many square feet? Where can I find the layout of this house or blueprints? Is there a particular name for this model? Thanks!!

A: Please email me at info@graindabuilders.com.

Thanks,

The Grainda Team

**Q: What colors are in the chair fabric and what is motif? Botanical?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Love the chair fabric! What colors are in the chair fabric and what is design. Looks like a botanical motif. I have a leather sofa very similar to one in your photo. Thank you Pam

A: Hi Pam,

Thanks for your question and I am glad that you liked our photo. We unfortunately do not have that information. We are here to help with any other questions you may have for Grainda Builders.

Thanks,
The Grainda Team
