### Reviews

**★★★★★ — Springfield Electric Lighting and Design, April 2017**

> Working with Mike and Paula has always been a great experience for Springfield Electric. It has developed into a great partnership over the years and their business is greatly appreciated. I love the creativity Paula brings with each project she works on. Regardless of the size of project Paula is working on she is constantly challenging herself and us to provide a different look for her customers. It is a challenge we love being a part of.

**Comment from Ryan Homes and Development:**

> Thanks Scott! I love the service, quality and variety that I get from everyone at Springfiled Electric. Buying local and being able to see the products is so helpful when choosing lighting for my customers!

**★★★★★ — Susan Day, Dec. 2016**

> Paula is one of those people who simply has a great eye -- for decorating, for space planning, color, furniture arrangement, accessorizing. She is also a joy to work with because of her positive energy. Each home I have seen that she has worked in is completely comfortable and reminds me of the owner. In addition to partnering with her to dress her clients windows with blinds or drapery, i have also invited her to help decorate my personal home.

> Mike and Paula built our first new home in Northlake Shore in 1999. We trusted Mike and Paula to build a second home in 2014/2015 because we knew they would deliver a quality well built home on spec and on budget. They did just that. Paula was an amazing benefit in the interior design and selection process for our home. Paula joined us in all of our meetings with the contractors and material providers in the building process. Her experience simplified the selection process and added design ideas at each meeting. The contractors used by Ryan Construction were all first rate. We are totally satisfied with our new Ryan built home.

**Comment from Ryan Homes and Development:**

> Thanks Greg and Kari, so much fun building for you guys...and we're still friends after 2 builds. The best thing about building for you was not just getting to build such a cool, unique home but getting to spend more time with you!

**★★★★★ — Lori Hazelwood, Sept. 2015**

> "When my husband and I decided that it was time for a home renovation, we knew that we needed to hire an expert, which is exactly why we hired Paula Ryan. We initially met with Paula and discussed our style, expectations, and budget. She transformed our vague ideas and created a modern design for our living room, including a new furniture layout, furniture selection, rugs, and accent pieces. Paula's involvement in our home renovation made the entire experience less stressful and I felt confident that the final product was going to be tailored to my needs. Her ‘to scale' sketches of furniture placement helped us envision the final outcome. Most importantly, Paula listened to my needs and used her expertise to suggest accent pieces and furnishings. Since I really did not have a clear image of what my style exactly was, Paula was patient in helping me discover this and always respected my choices. My house would not be what it is today without her expertise." We also hired Paula Ryan for a guest half bath renovation. The bathroom is gorgeous my guest alway compliment on how fantastic it looks she coordinated everything. We didn't have to do a thing but watch the beautiful transformation. Fantastic job highly recommended!

Paula is fun to work with, always positive and takes the time to listen to what will work for you. Highly recommended.

**Comment from Ryan Homes and Development:**

Her style is always leading edge with today's designs. Paula has a talent for selecting the perfect colors for any project she does.

**Comment from Ryan Homes and Development:**

**★★★★★ — sandyhamilton20, April 2015**

> We hired Paula to makeover our son, Charlie's, room. Wow doesn't even describe how this room turned out. It was incredible. Exactly what we wanted from new furniture, to newly painted walls to artwork that is out-of-this world. It was just absolutely amazing!

**Comment from Ryan Homes and Development:**

> This was one of my favorite jobs! I loved working with you on the surprise for your son's new room. Thanks for asking me to be a part of the project and I look forward to revamping the rest of the house when you're ready!

> We have been working with Ryan Homes and Development over the years. Ryan Homes always goes above and beyond any expectations for their clients and those they work with. Paula has vision, organization, effort, and enthusiasm that just can't be compared. It's enjoyable to work with someone who loves what they do.

**Comment from Ryan Homes and Development:**

> Thanks Rick, it's a great partnership. The cabinets sell themselves but if you don't have someone like you put my ideas on paper they aren't any good. Thanks for making my visions come to life!

**★★★★★ — THE CLOSET GUY, April 2015**

> I worked with Paula Ryan to help update a few areas in my home. She helped me pick out paint colors - helped me decide where to hang photographs- helped me pick out curtains/lamps etc. She was conscious of my budget and my sense of style. It was totally worth hiring Paula to help me make these decisions. I have implemented her suggestions and love the results. I recommend her to everyone!

**Comment from Ryan Homes and Development:**

> Thanks Amy, I love working with people like you who have a budget and helping you get the most bang for your buck! And when I work with friends like you I get to know you even better. Thanks for including me in on your project(s)

> Mike and Paula do a great job on their new homes and remodeling . Not only is the quality great but they are excellent in the design aspect.
> Once you get beyond the design and functionality of the layout, Paula goes to work on putting her touch on the interior space.
> Paula has a great eye for design and color which can be one of the biggest advantages in finishing off the project.
> Paula is one of the best I have had the opportunity to work with over the past 30 years when it comes to a remodel project. Paula has the ability to not only come up with a vision but utilize and create both form and function within whatever space she has to work with .

  - Description: This was built as a "spec" home, we do not do track homes in our area, rather design build. This home was built in Buckley Ridge Estates, one of 2 subdivisions we own. It is 2700 sq.ft up and 1800 finished in lower level. 5 bedroom home. You would typically see builder beige in our area, but I wanted to show some fresh clean colors. It is an open floor plan, so I used 3 different paint colors to tie everything together but still pretty neutral.

## Community Q&A

**Q: love the backsplash---Details?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is name of tile/manufacturer/model number? Where was it purchased? Thanks!!

A: Sorry, I don't know, this was the one thing the customer did after she moved in-our installer installed, but she purchased the tile. I know it came from a local place Arizona Tile Company

**Q: Would you sharing the name of the brick on the this house? Many Thanks** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I'm sorry, we built this some time ago and I don't recall, if you show the picture to a brick salesperson, they should be able to tell you

**Q: what is the door colour ? and from what paint company ? Love this** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I know it's a benjamin moore color. I will look it up and let you know

**Q: The doors are beautiful! Where did you get them?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I love the look of these too, but they have been a lot of trouble with closing etc...I wouldn't recommend them. Thermatru now carries similar style and much better quality that I have used.

**Q: help with master bedroom, currently blank slate!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Would appreciate suggestions on window treatments, dresser, nightstands, lighting, etc. I've attached photos, limited wall space for much more than a chest of drawers (have wic so ok w/ that) I have a few ideas but looking for input .. color does not photograph accurately is "not quite gray not quite purple hybrid" Evening Twighlight-Valspar soft feminine and comfy the goal

A: I would do sheer white panels

**Q: pls what is the wall color and brand? Its very soothing** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I'm sorry I don't remember what color it is
