Also is the bbq bar granite or concrete? A: Hi... Thank you for your questions! As the designer of this project, I called out granite slab counters for the BBQ and poured in place, natural colored concrete with washed finish for the decking and copings. Hope that helps! Thinking about putting a piece of stone in front. Will need to be thin since we need to be able to open the fireplace if needed. Stone suggestions? Quartz? A: Another question... is it a functional fireplace? If so, is it wood burning or gas only?
