Is this in Idylwood? The photo looks like Sylvan road. Great eye Roy this is a home in sylvan road. This is one of only 2 renovations we did outside of riverside Terrace area. The other was Jefferson. **Q: What did you use for the floor?** *(in Photo Questions)* Really love the simplicity of this floor, what size, type of tiles are they? A: Thanks for the question! It is actually the original 36"x36" Carrara or statuary marble from when the house was built in 1928; and its honed. It can get very dirty but can be cleaned easily and is great for entries as marble isn't phased by water (six pieces were found in the backyard and had been rained on for 30 years and still looked beautiful). Just watch out for rust that can form on the bottoms of umbrella stands or other metal... **Q: Dimension of island** *(in Photo Questions)* Thank you so much for your last reply! One more question...what are the dimensions of the island? A: I believe the butcher block came prefabricated in 7'LX 26"W sections. we glued two together to make up the giant butcher block seen here, so that would make the countertop dimensions 7'L X 56"W; with a 2" overhang on sink side and 14" overhang for leg room on the bar stool side. **Q: Cabinets and Island** *(in Photo Questions)* Who is the manufacturer of the cabinets and island? A: Hi there! The cabinets are thomasville, ordered through home depot! The pulls are crate and barrel, and the butcher block island top is prefab from floor and decor. This was a budget kitchen, but you can't tell by lookin! **Q: Colour of paint, bathroom walls, and trim here and throughout?** *(in Photo Questions)* Can you please tell me the info for these colours? That trim is genius; goes with everything. I'm so in love with every room in this French House! I'll be looking at this project over and over again. Swoon. A: First off, thanks so much for the kind words; they are priceless to a young designer such as myself. Secondly, the trim color is a custom color match with the plygem windows that were ordered in "beige." I can send you the color recipe privately from Sherwin Williams if you'd like. The wall color in the bathroom is Sherwin Williams "Light French Gray" and the FABULOUS purple in the adjoining master bedroom, guest bed, and dining room is "Studio Mauve." It may be my favorite color with the beige trim. Classic and timeless. Cheers! **Q: So pretty!
