Scott E. Redfearn established our firm in 2000 after 15 years of selling real estate in the Dallas and Mt. Pleasant markets. Scott gained experience through building spec homes while selling real estate and became more involved in building. After tackling his first custom home, the decision to incorporate and become a full time custom builder was made. Valuable experience and knowledge has been gained every year since.

Ultimately, our goal is to create the highest quality project for the owner within the budget and time given. We strive to make the building process as comfortable as possible for the client.

> Scott constructed our new home at Lake Cypress Springs. We did our homework when selecting a builder. We interviewed many local builders and checked references on their completed projects. We selected Scott Redfearn, Inc. and could not be happier with our new lake home. What was important to us was to find someone who was trustworthy and would build a quality constructed home. Scott delivered on both fronts. Having worked with other builders on past projects, we understood the challenges that come with building a custom home. Scott worked hard to meet all our specific requirements and deliver a home that we will enjoy for many years to come. Thanks Scott!

> Scott custom designed our forever home and we couldn't be happier. We showed him the building spot and gave him a few of our favorite random floor plans. He made it ALL work to give us a wide open floor plan and lots of useful space. SER specializes in customizing a home to fit your specific needs. We couldn't have built our forever without Scott and Laurie Redfearn including the great sub-contractors such as Troy Clower electrical, Buds Plumbing, Alford AC, Shumate Floor covering, Noriegas Cabinets and hardwood flooring, Jamie Mejia paint crew and Elloy & framing crew. It took us a total of 6 months. :)

> Scott built our Church in 2012 and did an excellent job! He met with us several times to get a better understanding of what we wanted and what our needs were. He made the building process easy. I love the fact that his wife works along side him and is there to help the client with the interior decorating. She made the selection of colors and interior décor less complicated. Thanks Scott and Laurie.

> This was our first house to build and we didn't know one thing about what we needed to do. Scott and Laurie helped us create the plan for about 2 years before we were ready to commit to building. Once building started, they continued to help us with every little thing. We met regularly and they kept us informed of our progress. Gave great suggestions for us and didn't shoot us when we changed our minds... :) We also used the houzz website to communicate about likes and dislikes for the interior of the house. We struggled with not really knowing how big a room was just by telling us the square footage. So they took us inside some of their other projects and let us actually see the size of some rooms. That was a huge help for us. I would highly recommended using them for any building project.

> Scott and Laurie Redfearn are an absolute dream to work with! My husband and I spent 2 years working with Scott on customizing our house plan until it was exactly what we wanted. Scott was patient, knowledgeable and creative with us. Once we began construction, Scott and Laurie were always available for meetings and progress reports. They kept us informed about our budget every step of the way. If we asked for something over our initial contract, they were upfront with us about the cost to make the change or upgrade so that we could make an informed decision on whether or not the change was worth it! We had always heard that building a house was a stressful experience...but with Scott and Laurie, it was fun - and we have our dream house!

  - Description: Homeowners have a 10,000 sq foot shop that they built the home onto. House was custom designed and built for the clients to accommodate their needs. Display cases were built into the house for their art, memorabilia and most prized possessions. The sliding barn doors are designed for gun storage. As our homeowners love to cook and entertain guests, a large kitchen was a must in the house with a large island and big open space. The bunk room was an important addition to make sure they could accom…

## Community Q&A

**Q: Closet Organizer** *(in Photo Questions)*

Who is the maker of the closet organizers you used?

A: They were built on site by our trim carpenter and the drawers were built by our cabinet maker.

**Q: Flooring** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hello, can you please give me the details on the flooring?

A: Mohawk - Treyburne Anitique Charcoal 9x36 tile

**Q: Love this vanity. Is it custom made?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Yes it was. We had Noriega's Cabinets in Mount Pleasant build and Mike Evans Painting finish it.

**Q: Dimension** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the height between bunks and ceiling height of room

A: The ceiling height is 9'. I believe it was 4' from floor to bottom of bunk.
Hope this helps!

**Q: Fireplace** *(in Photo Questions)*

Was the fireplace built from scratch, or made from a kit? Any construction details would be helpful. Thank you.

A: Did you use a rectangular fire box and arch the opening or is it a real masonry built fp with a flue
