It sold in a little over a week! > Smike shouldered the job with style and grace. He was calm and professional. He explained that in my case he just needed to edit my things to showcase the space and architectural elements of the house. When finished, my living room looked like a welcoming ballroom, my bedroom's outdated faux finished paint was replaced with a soothing , stone color that i liked so much I used it in my new bedroom and my office was turned into a delightful children's bedroom to suggest that young children could be comfy in the home. Smike made many staging and design choices in the four thousand square foot house that made it fresh and appealing. Obviously, it worked. > I hired Smike to come on board my new project--a townhouse in a 1924 Old Hollywood enclave in the Hollywood Hills, Smike designed 3 floors of rooms and 3 patios. His designs were both practical and bold. We picked a "pop" color for the living room. Amidst my neutrals, we added magenta arm chairs and sofa pillows--a real statement that worked! Smike was always conscious of budget and found reasonably priced items and bargains for all spaces. We agreed to laquer many of my mismatched pieces in a deep gray color to pull all the rooms together. He placed pieces of furniture in this color in every room. > In this way, he pulled the whole house together in an almost subliminal way. Smart, cost-effective and truly elegant. We shopped for rugs and accessories and even bought a piece on eBay! > Obviously, I have a lot to say about Smike and his work. I have recommended him to many friends. Everyone is thrilled with his creativity, professionalism and "can do" attitude. > I'm hoping to remodel my basement into a screening room.
