**Q: Need help choosing curtain panels to match family room rug** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I need help choosing curtain panels to match rug/design in family room.  Walls are Believable Buff (Sherwin Williams - pale yellow).  Rug is very colorful (Company C design).  not happy with previous choice which was a darker gold color for curtain panels.  would appreciate suggestions.  will be 4 panels 107 inches with pinched pleats at top

A: I luv green so I like the green pillows.  If they match the green in the carpet then I think they're fine.  If you're a person that likes to switch out your accent colors, it may be better to go with panels that match the wall color or a beige? Like the background in the carpet.

Hi I'm a teenager and would love some advice on how to make my bedroom look nicer, which would probably include where to put the furniture, if there's a better place to hang those photos on the wall, etc.
I have attached some photos and would be thankful for any help!

A: Agreed, flip the bed to the opposite wall.  Move the dresser to where the nightstand is currently or flat against the wall with the door.  If you don't have a ceiling light, get a pendant lamp with a light kit and hang from a hook over your bed.  If you plan to keep the wallpaper, painting the upper wall the same color blue in the flower is also a great idea.  I'd keep the wallpaper on the wall where the headboard will be (as a focal wall) and then paint the other walls.  Hang your artwork on the painted walls so that they aren't lost in the wallpaper.  Add accent pillows and a throw blanket that coordinates with the wallpaper to add color.  Declutter by getting storage designed to fit under the bed or reorganize your closet to accommodate your things. If you get furniture moving pads it makes it easy for one person to shift things around.
