> I hired Mike to replace the windows in my home. I requested that he not harm the inside of the home as it had been recently remodeled. A contract was signed documenting this and the windows were ordered. The first problem was that he didn't order windows with panes as requested. Then he ordered windows that were the wrong measurement. When Mike started installation he tore out the entire window instead of doing replacement windows as he was contracted to do. I later found out the Mike had purchased windows for new construction instead of replacement to update the home. I was also told that Mike had purchased a low grade quality window instead of the midgrade window he was paid to order. When Mike was confronted about these issues and others that surrounded the quality of his work he quit the job. This left my home open and vulnerable to weather damage. I asked Mike for his insurance information so that I could file a claim to repair the damage. I discovered that he didn't carry any insurance. I am now in the process of hiring another contractor to complete the windows and repair the damage to the interior of my home. I am requesting that Mike pay for the damages that occurred while he worked on my home.

> Mike and his crew replaced my roof in May of this year. I was impressed with their organization and attention to detail, how quickly they completed the job and answered my questions. Mike himself is very easy to get ahold of and works hard until the job is done. I would recommend this company to family.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Remove or keep Pony Wall in Bathroom?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

In the middle of a bathroom remodel and I'm just not feeling this half wall

If i remove no privacy (that's what locked doors are for I guess)

If I get rid of it I believe it will make my bathroom look bigger.

Any ideas suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A: REMOVE THE WALL!REMODEL THE WHOLE BATH YOU NEED TO DO SOME UPDATE WORK.IT IS A SMALL BATHROOM.sPEND A LITTLE TO GET GETTHE LOOK YOU CAN BE HAPPY TO SEE EACH DAY.
