After interviewing several firms we chose Sunlight Homes, and throughout design and construction we never had cause to doubt or second-guess our choice. > > For those that may have apprehension about building a custom home 'over the internet', here was our experience. Our project was conducted from a distance, as we were living overseas at the time. This went very well. Evan accommodated us by making sure he was available for the design visits during our brief vacations back home and always being there for conference calls at the odd hours required by our time zone differences. Recycling of design concepts and drawings was always timely. Evan was able to propose creative options and solutions to design issues to account for structural challenges (earthquake standards and snow loads) in our project and was very diligent in working with our Planning Departing to finalize the building permit. Our builder commented several times that Evan was exceptional in timely response to his questions and requests for clarifications during the construction process. I am the artist that created and painted the rustic 4 unique carved pots chandelier hanging above the dining room table and chairs. I use to work with Strictly Southwestern in Albuquerque but they have gone out of business. I would like to let you know that if your customer should ever need a repair or replacement I am here to help. That particular chandelier is one of a kind, the only one ever made.
