We built it in the late 1980's and it was overdue for a complete facelift. Norway Builders came highly recommended; friends had used Bob for a first floor renovation of their home and the results were breathtaking. This was comprehensive renovation; everything was removed from the first floor living space, all the floors were torn out, walls and windows were moved, structural supports introduced, a laundry room was moved, etc. Through it all Bob and Norway were there offering encouragement and guidance. Norway maintains a great network of professionals such that everything from the kitchen layout and cabinet design to the lighting plans, material choices, windows and finishes were in the hands of individuals that cared about the client and the finished project. We were even able to leverage his contacts to literally save thousands of dollars on the cost of appliances. > Any renovation has its ups and downs, there is always an element of drama. When you open up a wall you never know what you will find. Our project was no different. Bob and his team always reassured us that there was nothing they hadn't seen before and solved each surprise with confidence and professionalism. Did it take longer than we expected? Of course, (we ran about a month over) but the delays that occurred were generally were the result of unexpected lead times, the temporary unavailability of materials, etc. So, would I recommend Norway?
