We worked with Donna to dream up what an addition that fit our needs would look like, how it would fit in the budget and the footprint we had available (limited by bulkhead, septic, property boundary), and worked iteratively on a design. Throughout, Donna was magnificent at teasing out info about our lifestyle, our expectations for a family den space, our desire for an attached music room given all the musicians in the family, and how we wanted to revamp the side entrance to allow for a mudroom. She created and patiently edited plans to meet our needs, and they easily passed muster with the zoning board, inspectors, and the builders themselves. We could not be happier with the end results, and would recommend Donna to anyone -- especially if you need that "Socratic dialogue" to figure out what you want. **Comment from D.L.
