Reinforced concrete foundations were incorporated into the walls to allow the installation of a pergola by others. The foundations were encased in the same concrete stacked blocks as the walls and capped with bluestone caps, which required a cut out in the center to allow the pergola support post to connect to the foundation. Mike and the wall supplier worked with us to develop a method to construct the pergola foundations as pedestals within the retaining walls. Work also included low voltage lighting, subgrade drainage, grading and restoring the disturbed areas. > Project No. 2 – Front Walk – Installed a new sidewalk with concrete pavers and new steps to the front porch and a decorative pillar. Services included selection and installation of foundation plantings around entire house. We also required minor cosmetic foundation repairs and Mike was able to provide us with contact information with a mason and a painter, both of whom provided excellent services. > > Both went very well. Project 1 occurred in Summer/Fall 2015. Project 2 occurred in Spring 2016.
