Did a kitchen remodel and extremely unsatisfied!! Had to badger them to complete the job and then to fix all the mistakes and damage. They have refused to fix remaining problems. They created a big leak in the basement we have to hire people to fix, shelf in kitchen collapsed and all our dishes broke, leak in ceiling. The list goes on. Do your research. We chose to have Fairfield Homes, Inc., in Arlington Heights build our new home. We are very happy we went with Fairfield Homes, Inc., and the team of Kevin, Scott, Stephanie, McKenna, etc. Dan and I are an active senior couple and were looking to build a ranch home with some age- in- place features like easy entrance to the home from the sidewalk, walk-in shower with a bench, grab bar and extra shower nozzle, larger entrance hallway, larger stairwell with landing halfway down the stair run. We worked with Chris from ALA Architects who made these criteria happen (awesome experience). > Our home was built during the pandemic, and so some delays were experienced but Kevin and Scott were reassuring that things would be fine, and everything was. Stephanie helped us pick the interior choices for our new home and was good to work with. Kevin is in charge of sales and the contract, and I believe he is honest and forthright. No price increases or surprises were experienced. (Scott is the general and made sure the work was done according to their schedule. Our home is just beautiful! Dan and I really love it. The finish work is beautiful, we love our kitchen, great room, bedrooms, study, wonderful laundry room with the cubbies and bench seat, finished basement (just love my sewing room), 3-car garage, etc. We couldn't be happier. Not everything that is new is perfect, but Kevin works very hard to please his customers and tries to come close.
