Removing the existing non-essential wall made the kitchen an integral part of the larger dining and solarium area. Considerably reducing the size of the storage room allowed much more additional space for the kitchen area, thus providing needed space for additional major appliances. The new cabinets and counters, with state-of-the-art hardware, and the new appliances makes "working" in the kitchen such a pleasant experience. With so much storage space in the new cabinets and drawers, the greatly reduced size of the original storage room is not a problem. The two large sections of the quartz countertop are beautiful, very easy to keep clean, and does not need periodic sealing like some other types. Stephen worked with us to create a design that fit our space and budget. He walked us through each decision with lots of information and patience, never once making us feel rushed. Once we approved the design, and moved into the installation phase, the professionalism and great customer service continued with our installer, Donnie. Everything is straight, level and solid (I know this because my 12-year old son kicked them full force the other day and did not leave a mark!) We love the color, the style and the ease of being able to move around in a well-designed kitchen. It has now been almost one year and we are still getting compliments - everyone who walks through our door (which comes into the kitchen) comments positively, from guests to delivery drivers. Three friends who are professional chefs have all given their approval.
