> We've worked with the Lakewood team on several projects this year including a 2000+ square foot home renovation in Pacific Beach and an extensive exterior renovation for a historical home in Mission Hills. The first home was taken down to the studs for a completely redone infrastructure, roof, HVAC system, new windows and doors, an exterior facelift, new lighting throughout, a new kitchen, 2 renovated bathrooms, a newly designed interior courtyard and fireplace, and the addition of a powder bath. The exterior project included all new hardscaping, a new pool and hot tub, new landscaping and lighting in the front and back yards, and a large outdoor kitchen. I'm happy to report that both projects turned out beautifully. I greatly appreciated Lakewood's attention to detail to our design, their very well executed craftsmanship, and the problem solving mentality they brought to the table. As interior designers, it's very important to find solid and trustworthy contractors that you enjoy partnering with and look forward to doing repeat jobs with as they are very hard to come by. Tommy, Darrick and the Lakewood team are friendly, knowledgeable and help the projects go as smoothly as possible which is extremely reassuring to any homeowner. They are very competitively priced and value staying on schedule and on budget. I can't recommend Lakewood Builders enough. You are in very good hands, will be more than happy with the results and won't regret hiring this team!
