As a teenager growing up on Long Island, I enjoyed helping my father in his business renovating and flipping homes. While all of my friends were hanging out or shopping at the mall, I was busy installing flooring and/or decking, hanging sheetrock, sealing foundations, and so much more. I LOVED IT! The memories of those times with my father and everything he taught me were the spark that ignited my passion for all things design. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, I spent most of my career gaining vast experience in Marketing and Event Management working for a software conglomerate. My background in several roles with that company involved managing budgets for multi-million dollar global campaigns along with planning and creating the perfect spaces for corporate and personal events. When I transitioned out of corporate America, I worked as a freelance on-site event manager, event planner and interior decorator. This varying livelihood was fun ‘at first’ but I knew I had a decision to make – continue with events or pursue my passion of decorating. It was an easy choice. I have always been eager to start my own business and finally the timing was right. Maria helped us renovate and decorate our beach condo with a beautiful classic coastal style. When we bought our place, it was very outdated. But with Maria’s help the place took an immediate turn to modernization and now looks absolutely GORGEOUS!! Maria designed the entire condo with beautiful laminate floors, modern gray wall colors and accented navy blue throughout. We wanted the bedroom to feel brighter and Maria designed the room with an accent wall and decided on wallpaper that is primarily white with a navy blue herringbone design - the colors and pattern definitely lightened up the room and makes a statement while being subtle. The bathroom was a full renovation - the details of black finish hardware with white subway and blue penny tile - make the small space so look very modern and much bigger. She helped me find the perfect backsplash for my new kitchen and gave my new vacation home a total renovation! Without Maria, this process would have been overwhelming! But instead, she made it fun and memorable! Every time we go to our beach getaway we feel at home. Her details are absolutely stunning!
