Who do you make the fabric with laminated glass? - This is a wonderful idea! Can the fabric be changed from time to time? How do you laminate the material behind the glass? I would like to change the picture according to the seasons. Thanks so much!

I'd like to know how much heat the laminated glass can take. I have a stove with a coup de feu that puts out 36K btus, and i'm desperate for an awesome easy to clean backsplash that isn't stainless steel (my stove is green).

Does anybody happen tom know how to get a custom fit (measures) for the glass? Does it have to be a special type of glass? Thank you! This is "GORGEOUS"!

Not sure what you mean by custom fit? If the fabric is custom fit to the glass? The glass we use is normally a low iron glass (less green). This is much clearer than regular clear glass so you get truer colors.

The stained oak, are the cabinets from a supplier ( do they come in that color / wood option?) or are they custom and then stained ? If the former, which company are they from and if the later, yes, please...which stain? Beautiful and soft!

Cabinets appear to be laminate. Perhaps Prism TFL Aria.

Don't see why it would be a problem: everything just has to be sealed properly, like any other material - tile, etc.

Sealing the edges of glass with silicone caulk should make it watertight

I would think you could use mirror attachments for ideas

Think this backsplash is a tile mosaic? Look closer. It's actually fabric covered with glass — so much easier, more affordable and unexpected.
Becky Dietrich, Interior Designer added this to Fabric: The Unsung Wall-Decorating Hero
Fabric that is laminated behind glass makes a memorable and fabulous backsplash. Imagine doing this with an heirloom family textile, or to repeat a fabric used on curtains or upholstery elsewhere in the room. Laminated fabrics, usually used for projects like tablecloths, umbrellas and handbags, can also be applied to the wall, but they aren’t appropriate for applications like this unless they’re secured behind glass. I hope some of these ideas have inspired you, and that the next time you need something unusual but brilliant on your wall, you’ll think of textiles.More: Hang a TapestryShow us: Have you created or decorated with handmade textiles? We’ll love to see a photo in the Comments below.

How about textiles? Here an exotic piece of fabric was laminated between sheets of glass for use as a backsplash.
Mary Jo Bowling added this to Houzz Call: Show Us Your Best Kitchen Innovation
When a homeowner wanted a seamless backsplash that also had a bold pattern, Incorporated came up with the idea of covering fabric with glass. Now it’s your turn. Upload those photos, floor plans and ideas below.
Lara Sargent added this to Celebrate Spring All Year With Florals in the Kitchen
Soup up a backsplash. Combine florals with a minimalist, modern backdrop, and the effect will be striking without being overpowering. Here, a favorite piece of flowery fabric was cut to size and laminated to create a custom backsplash. As a result, what could have felt like a rather cold kitchen now bursts with character.
Karen Egly-Thompson added this to What Matisse Can Teach Us About Interior Design
Allow for some breathing room. Going wild with an entire room full of mismatched patterns isn’t for the faint of heart. Most folks feel comfortable using bold patterns in small doses. If this is more your speed, make sure your spirited pattern is placed in a prominent location and doesn’t have competing pieces nearby. This backsplash is made of fabric laminated onto glass. Like a piece of artwork, its beauty is emphasized not by what surrounds it, but by what’s not around it. Clean lines and neutral cabinets make this installation shine.
Jess McBride added this to Textile Textbook: Vintage Fabrics Tell a Story
7. Custom backsplash. In easily the most inventive use of fabric that I have come across, this designer encased a yard in glass and called it a backsplash. It’s a brilliant, refreshing way to get a little color and pattern into the kitchen in a totally unexpected way.
Amanda Pollard added this to London Celebrates the Exuberant Midcentury Designs of Josef Frank
Softening hard edges. Frank was a modernist, but he rebelled against some elements of the movement. Whereas later modernists such as Le Corbusier embraced standardized and uniform design, Frank’s textiles were anything but. Here, a sleek kitchen is given a softer twist with a backsplash made is glass-laminated fabric in Frank’s Brazil pattern.
