The handrail at the stairs is a sustainably harvested stain grade mahogany with a Penetrating Pecan stain from Benjamin Moore and sealed with a medium luster tung oil.

Thank you! It goes beautifully with my same oak floors, which is a much lighter color and works well.

What is the paint color that you used for the wall? It is very pretty!

    Hello,
The walls are Benjamin Moore's Bone White with an Aqua Velvet finish and the wood trim and paneling is Benjamin Moore's Linen White with a Satin Impervo finish.
    Hope that helps!

I am working on a project now where this look is perfect. Could these posts and rails etc., that you have made in house, be custom ordered? I NEED THIS... please say yes!

Thank you so much. So these 6-7 steps we see here are 4 - 10" and then do you know what you tapered it down to? Are the stairs on the left that descend down also 4 - 10 in the first set? Thanks again!

Yes, the stairs descending at this landing are also 4' - 10" wide, but I can't provide more detail than that - these stairs are four stories high and very complex.

I believe they would need a lathe at a minimum.

The mahogany here has been finished with Benjamin Moore's Penetrating Pecan stain and sealed with Sutherland Welles Exterior Polymerized Tung Oil in a medium luster.

    Looking at this image the stairs are 10' - 0" depth and 11' - 1 1/2" wide.

  • Stephen Steinfeldt

Thank you. I assume by the measurements that the floor space required is 10' by 11'1 1/2"
