What is the exterior color? Stain? And window color?

  • Lauren Mason
I love the shade of the metal standing seam roof. What is the metal and what is the color? I'm doing a similar shake shingle/metal combo roof in California. I love what you did.

Thanks for the nice comments. That is copper, and it has become very expensive lately.

Retaining wall looks fabulous! Is it concrete faced with veneer stone? Or how did you do it?

What type of shingle on roof?

    Hello,
This home has a slate roof. It is Semi-Weathering Gray-Green, supplied by the Evergreen Slate Company in Pittsford, VT and installed by the Melanson Company.
    Hope that helps!

What is the color of the lighter trim?

  • pixey
I see Embassy Green on some trim, but it's too dark to be the window trim and porch post color. What is the lighter shade?
  • PRO
    Smith & Vansant Architects PC
Sorry, but it is all the Embassy Green. Paint colors can appear to be very different depending on what light you are seeing them in and what materials are nearby. If you look closely at the colors in the photo I link here, you can see the same color trim on the posts looks very different due to very different light conditions and variable surroundings:

There are some other images, but since it is woods in the rear it is difficult to get a good shot. This is probably the best you will get:

The siding is red cedar, pre-primed in semi-transparent at the factory in Cabot Beechwood Gray. Then a single coat of Semi-transparent Cabot Pepperwood was applied. Most of the ext. trim is BM 1523 Embassy Green.
