The main wall cabinets, island, and island table legs are painted in Sherwin Williams SW7514 Foothills in a satin finish. The tall cabinet in the corner and the island table top are stained a custom color. The walls are Benjamin Moore HC-108 Sandy Hook Gray/ Eggshell.

Unfortunately, we do not have a close up image of that cabinet. Perhaps the photos attached will help you though.

I am so very sorry for the delay. Somehow, we overlooked this question. This particular home does not have a playground. Perhaps you were looking at another project? Please advise and we will provide what information we can. Thanks so much.

We love this ceiling stain too! The wood is burnt hickory and unfortunately we do not have an exact color for the stain, we just played around with various stains until we came up with a mix to use on the wood. I would recommend taking a piece of wood that you will be using and come up with some stain mixes to paint on the wood sample in various places.

Hi Cheryl, Thank you for the comments! I would recommend visiting a Sherwin Williams Paint Center where you can view this paint color and similar, lighter shades. This will also be helpful as colors can appear different through computer screens.
  • Cheryl Scruggs
Linda, thank you! Your work is exquisite! Wish you were in Dallas! I did go to SW and got the paint colors. We are trying to lighten up the kitchen and I think the 7514 might be too dark. I love the color though! Thanks for the suggestion!

Thank you. The dimensions are 36”w x 78”l x 30”h. There are legs at the front corners and the back side is supported by the island cabinetry – it was built by the cabinet maker and attached to the island face.

I'm at the Eagle Window website and can't find a finish called Chocolate Chip. Would it be Cocoa Bean possibly?

  • PRO
Linda McDougald Design | Postcard from Paris Home

The finish we used has most likely been discontinued. Cocoa Bean will give you a similar feel. However, if you want to get even closer to the Chocolate Chip finish, you could chose their custom colors program and ask them to recreate Chocolate Chip to the best of their ability.

I have dark granite countertops {saphire} and just did the cabinets in weathered grey stain, but sanded them lighter 2 bring the oak grain of wood out.my question is? what color or colors should i do my walls,so it has some life 2 it???
  • PRO
Linda McDougald Design | Postcard from Paris Home
We typically select paint colors in context with the other finishes. My best recommendation, without having samples with the exact tones of the cabinet stain, that Sherwin Williams Pediment 7634 or Mindful Gray 7016 would be potential options.
