I would look at Barn Light Electric. This is a very common fixture you can find at a lot of vendors and big box stores. "Gooseneck" is a good search term, or "barn light"

This photo was posted by the photographer and not the designer, so he's not going to know these kinds of specifics.

Are there any pictures or an article of the rest of the house?

I have recently learned from the builder that the island was acquired through Sonoma Antiques.

Great question about what type of countertops these are. I love the light white countertops against the beige splash pad. The chop-block kitchen island looks amazing. I'd love to have a custom home built like this. Especially with the gabled roof. http://www.latochabuilders.com

That looks like a Big Chill fridge. They are new but have a gorgeous retro look.

14. Install a slim island. No room for a full-size island? A butcher’s block could be the answer. It might not quite provide the breakfast bar of your dreams, but it’s a rustically stylish way to introduce some invaluable extra workspace into a compact kitchen.
Apartment 46 for the Home added this to Small, Slim and Super: Compact Kitchen Islands That Offer Big Function
When you’re thinking small, vintage is a great way to go. Pieces like sofa tables and consoles are often handmade and of great-quality wood. This vintage piece adds to the overall ambiance of this modern farm-style kitchen, keeping it friendly while adding a point of interest. If your main concern is more counter space, a butcher block island is the way to go. You can order a relatively inexpensive island online and have a local craftsman make a quality butcher block top for it in any size, shape or design. You’ll get an affordable custom piece that adds interest to your space.Tip: If you’re using an uncommon piece of furniture in your kitchen, ensure that you’ve sanded and coated it with a heavy-duty polyurethane or topped it with a butcher block or thin piece of acrylic to protect the surface and make it easy to clean.

2. Easy fix: New appliances. Swapping out old appliances for shiny new models is one of the biggest-impact ways to make over your kitchen without getting bogged down in a full remodel. And because the cost of appliances and installation is pretty straightforward, it’s easier to plan and budget for this upgrade than projects that might expand beyond your original scope.Not-so-easy fix: New kitchen layout. Replacing what’s already in your kitchen is one thing, but when you start to move the plumbing and electrical around, costs can rise quickly. If possible, go for a house with a kitchen that has a layout you’re happy with — you can always tweak the details.Stash It All: Know the Three Zones of Kitchen Storage
