Colorado Contemporary

This photo captures a powder room with in inset mirror and lensed strip lighting detail that travels from the floor to the ceiling. This creates a flattering, shadowless environment which visually flattens out wrinkles and makes all visitors appear younger.

I think it is some sort of slate tile, but Robyn, above, would be the person to ask.

Thanks. The mirror was inset a few inches, just like 3"+/- . We used a linear strip light behind a shoji screen lens that ran floor to ceiling. I can't remember the exact dimensions of the pocket, but it's very important to make sure you have enough depth for the lens to eliminate any imaging of the light source behind. I would recommend mocking this up to make sure it's a clean line. Good Luck!

I was the lighting designer on the project, but the interior designer Robyn Scott, could answer your questions. You can find her information here: http://www.houzz.com/pro/rscott/robyn-scott-interiors-ltd if you'd like to ask her. I think it is slate, but she could answer for sure. Good Luck!

12/11 wall colors/texture are great match

Cool idea for the powder room A straight across counter mirror between tile or rock work
John Parker added this to Half Bathroom
This is the short wall of bath. Other three would be neutral paint color. Toilet would be perpendicular to sink.
