Dolores Street Residence

This 7,000 square foot renovation and addition maintains the graciousness and carefully-proportioned spaces of the historic 1907 home. The new construction includes a kitchen and family living area, a master bedroom suite, and a fourth floor dormer expansion. The subtle palette of materials, extensive built-in cabinetry, and careful integration of modern detailing and design, together create a fresh interpretation of the original design.

Where can I find a ceiling light fixture like this? - The ceiling light fixture seems similar to a school house fixture. I want a French look, and this seems more like it. Thank you.

Ann Sacks does sell them - but they're produced by Heath Ceramics who sell directly to the public.

With handmade tiles, a pattern like this showcases the uniqueness of each individual ceramic piece.
Lily Gahagan added this to Traditional Revisited: Plate Racks
The plate rack comes off as streamlined in this contemporary craftsman kitchen.
Alison Aves added this to Brave, Appetizing Color Where You Cook
The use of green backsplash tiles here is elegant (though this green itself is fairly neutral).
Lisa Frederick added this to Kitchen Workbook: 8 Elements of a Craftsman Kitchen
5. Earthy colors. The Craftsman palette pulls straight from nature. Think mossy greens, woodsy browns, deep golds and rusty oranges, brought in through the use of paint, tile and accents.
