    Hi Rachel,
In the great room the recommended height is 8.5' from the floor.

Generally, if its going over a specific space or a surface, such as lighting over a kitchen island or a dining table, the recommended height is 5.5' from the floor, so it will illuminate the surface/ table. and when it has to illuminate a large space you hang it higher so the light will spread over a large area.
  • PRO
    Clay Construction Inc.

Thank you Galelee Lighting. I agree.

Hello Dulcirao, At the point we handed the house to the homeowners, there was no window coverings. They may have added window coverings afterwards. There are many options for window coverings that would meet your needs. You need to locate a company that supplies and installs blinds/window coverings in your area. If you lived in Vancouver, BC I could make some recommendations. Cheers.
