What did you use to make the shower basin and floor dam? I love this look great idea and good job .

- What did you use to make the dam for the shower on the floor.

Hi Jaime,...Thanks for the kind words :) The shower is a standard 5 ft x 30" opening,...the same dimensions you would have for a standard bath tub. The French door I used is 36" wide and 79" height. This size door allows you enough room to walk through and keeps most of water in the shower....I used a rain shower head to direct the water straight down. The room is essentially a wet room so any water that gets out we just wipe it up

Hi Brad, now that it has been installed for a while, I was wondering how the tile installed on the shower pan worked and is holding up?? I wanted to do the same thing at my house but every where I looked and researched they say you cant do that and it will fail and break the shower pan. It looks sooooo nice !! Thank you :O)

The shower "door" is wonderful.

- How did you stabilize it?

what brand/model toilet is this? very hard to find compact toilets proportionate to 98"x60" bathrooms
        • HAnna
Yes, been looking at all the brand names and can't find a compact toilet for an even smaller [90"x60"] bathroom. So far, all I've come up with is a transitional toilet by Kholer, the Sana Rosa which is 27.75" from back to front. This only requires a .5" clearance from wall and thus totals 28.25" from wall to front of bowl.

Plus, this model gives you benefits of: 1 pc; comfort height; elongated bowl.

Good luck and if you find a smaller quality toilet please let me know as I've a couple of reno's coming up.
