Love the cabinets you designed - putting the shelf in the middle rather than at the bottom. Will remember this for future projects. I did not see this on your website - but would love to see other angles of this room.

As with any project, consulting a professional and assembling the necessary team is the key to achieving a cohesive look throughout a home. We worked very closely with both the architect and contractors as we designed interior details with the client. Having a good team creates checks & balances that keep all members on course.

We sell sliding barn door hardware. We are located in Idaho but ship our tracks all over the place. Our hardware is very high quality. We offer a variety of styles and finishes. We also specialize in custom orders. If you have a particular color in mind we own a powder coating facility which makes color options almost endless. The wheels on our tracks are unbelievably quiet, eliminating the grinding sound you hear with other tracks that use metal wheels. We see every single one of our products through from start to finish! contact us at http://www.basincustom.com or email us at info@basincustom.com or call 208-261-1270

No, both the barn wood and hewn in the space are natural. A light wire brushing was done to knock of f the grit and make it safe to touch (no splinters!), but the color has not been manipulated.

All of our hardware is very sturdy and durable. All of our tracks are made on site in southern Idaho. We take great pride in everything we do and that is why we see each and every item through from start to finish personally. We also have a powder coating facility on site which allows us to further customize hardware for our customers. We have even made a cherry red track!! The wheels on our tracks are extremely quiet and our end stops are rubber so you wont ever have the loud metal on metal sound! Since this was the Master Bath and there was limited entry from the public space (and a locking door at the bedroom entrance), this door does not have a lock. We have seen gate style or sliding locks used in barn door installations. Good luck with your project!

The vanities are 2'11" wide each and the central cabinet is 28" wide. This worked with the overall size and proportion of the room so we would suggest you evaluate your space with this in mind. Good luck with your project!

Thank you for your kind words!! We used Calacutta Gold marble (honed & sealed) in this bath. It was a stunning compliment to the reclaimed oak vanities and walls. Calacutta can have very different veining from lot to lot so be open to other "varieties" as the names can change as the character does. Good luck with your project!

This particular door does not but it could have if we needed to. Instead of an inset pull like we have here, the specification would simply need to be a locking set like those used for pocket doors. A provision of receiving hardware would also be needed within the masonry that is accepting the door. You could also do a surface mounted throw bolt. Good luck with your project!
